AC Milan manager, Stefano Pioli is optimistic Samuel Chukwueze will come good at the club despite his early struggles.
Chukwueze scored a fantastic goal in Milan's 3-1 victory at Hellas Verona on Sunday afternoon.
The Nigeria scored volleyed home from inside the box few minutes after coming on the pitch.
It was the winger's first league goal for the Rooseneri after 17 games.
Chukwueze has come under intense criticism after failing to hit the ground running at the San Siro following his arrival from LaLiga club Villarreal last summer.
"It's the story of a foreign player who comes to play in a difficult and complicated league, where the demands are certainly different than those he had at Villarreal. He is putting a lot of will and effort into trying to do the best possible," Pioli told DAZN.
"I believe that too many times judgments are rushed and there is no time to wait. They are guys who come from a different mentality, another way of living and training, another way of playing.
"I'm very happy with the goal and that he's doing well when he's called upon. We have the patience necessary to wait for all our players."
